We visited the island of Rhodes and drove to the Lindos fort and later spent a lot of time exploring the city of Rhodes with its windmills and the buck and doe deer at the harbor entrance, etc.

The island of Santorini was another favorite place with the white washed buildings and blue domed churches. They also have red and black beaches. We used the local buses for transport around the island.
